The Boston Symphony Orchestra opens its 2026–27 season under Music Director Andris Nelsons with acclaimed cellist Yo-Yo Ma performing Elgar’s Cello Concerto. The program also includes Arturs Maskats’ Tango and Brahms’ Symphony No. 4.

Before the concert, invited orchestra directors and ensemble leaders will gather nearby for drinks, light fare, and conversation. Encore will also introduce the Symphony Hall Series, our growing collection of performance experiences for orchestras in landmark concert halls.

The evening offers a firsthand look at what makes Boston Symphony Hall exceptional and how your students, musicians, or ensemble members could take part in an Encore-produced experience on its stage.
