Alternate Return Process

An alternate return allows a traveler using Encore-arranged group airfare to return home at a later date than the rest of the group. All requests must be submitted online as soon as possible and no later than 90 days before departure.

How the Alternate Return Process Works

1. Complete the online Alternate Return Request Form with your preferred return date, city and flight information.
2. Encore will review your request based on airline group guidelines and availability.
3. You will be billed a $250 Alternate Return Fee, plus any additional airline costs and applicable weekend surcharges.
4. Encore will provide a flight option for your confirmation. Final flight information is generally available approximately 30 days before departure.

Important Considerations

• Your U.S. departure and return gateways must be the same.
• Specific airlines, routes, flight numbers and nonstop flights cannot be guaranteed.
• Each subsequent change is subject to a $130 fee.
• No changes are permitted within 65 days of departure.
• You are responsible for accommodations, transportation and airport transfers after separating from the group.
• Encore Travel Protection coverage ends when the basic program concludes.
